(MUFON) –Leaving a restaurant in the parking lot, I pointed out Venus to my daughter. She said “look, a shooting star!” I saw the object moving west above us. It was moving too fast to be a satellite but too slow for a meteor or shooting star. After a few seconds, it banked left for about 2 seconds. Then it banked right, picked up speed and shot off to the north at a great speed. The whole sighting lasted 10-15 seconds. No blinking lights, just a bright light. Have no point of reference for size, altitude or distance. I watch the skies all the time and have never seen anything like this.
